WRC Faculty Announcement: Postgraduate Liaison

The Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine, McMaster University – Waterloo Regional Campus (WRC), is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Anthony Wassef as the Post Graduate Liaison, Waterloo Regional Campus effective June 1, 2020.  Dr. Wassef is an Interventional Cardiologist at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener.

Dr. Wassef will be responsible to support the post graduate resident training programs at Waterloo Regional Campus in collaboration with the post graduate education leads. He will also take an active role in developing post graduate learning opportunities for Residents in the Region from Hamilton and other Universities in Canada and abroad. He will represent Waterloo Regional Campus at McMaster University on the various post graduate leadership committees. Tony brings to the role his experience in teaching and research, as well as his  knowledge of accreditation through his role with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
