The Doctor of Medicine (MD), Undergraduate Medical Education (UGME) Program at the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine is a three-year MD program designed to equip students with the necessary skills and flexibility to pursue any specialty within the vast field of medicine.
The medical school is spread across three locations – the main campus in Hamilton, along with regional campuses; Niagara Regional Campus (NRC) and the Waterloo Regional Campus (WRC). Currently, the program admits 217 students annually, distributed as 153 to the Hamilton Campus, and 32 each to the regional campuses.
