WRC Faculty Announcement: Pre-Clerkship Coordinator

The Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine, McMaster University – Waterloo Regional Campus (WRC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Sharon Bal as Pre-Clerkship Coordinator effective August 1, 2019. Dr. Bal will be responsible for the continued local development and operationalization of Undergraduate Pre-Clerkship programming including oversight of Medical Foundation Tutorials, Clinical Skills, Professional Competencies and Anatomy delivered through WRC.

Sharon replaces Dr. Mike Lee-Poy, who has held the position since the inception of the Waterloo Regional Campus and demonstrated great enthusiasm and commitment to advancing the Pre-Clerkship programme regionally. We thank him for his many contributions in that position and to the Campus.  Mike is not leaving us but has transitioned to a new role at the Hamilton Campus and will remain a member of the Executive Team here in Waterloo.
